Amedisys Named to Modern Healthcare's 2021 Best Places to Work in Healthcare
Modern Healthcare named Amedisys to its prestigious Best Places to Work in Healthcare list. The magazine’s annual recognition program honors 150 companies and organizations that “empower employees to provide patients and customers with the best possible care, products and services.”
Top Amedisys Care Centers Earn 2019 SHPBest Award Recognitions
Amedisys had 90 home health and hospice care centers recognized as SHPBest Award recipients, meaning these teams are among those with the highest overall scores - HHCAHPS patient satisfaction scores and Hospice CAHPS family and caregiver satisfaction scores - of all eligible SHP clients during the 2019 calendar year.
Among the recipients, 22 care centers made the Premier Performer list for ranking in the top 20% and 68 made the Superior Performer list for ranking in the top 20% of all eligible clients.
Amedisys Hospice also had the highest number of recipients for any one hospice provider.
We Honor Veterans
We Honor Veterans is a national awareness campaign conducted by the National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Its goal is to help hospice professionals better understand the challenges veterans may be facing from illness, isolation or traumatic life experiences and guide them to a more peaceful death.
Spirit of Excellence
The Spirit of Excellence awards allow Amedisys to celebrate the heart and soul of who we are and what we do by recognizing excellence and achievement in our employees. Every year, all our employees have the opportunity to nominate their colleagues for our most prestigious internal award.
