THE AMEDISYS RECRUITING PROCESS

Once you’ve found the right opportunity to apply to, your recruiter will guide you through the following steps:

  • Application
    You’ll enter all the important stuff like education, work experience and any relevant qualifying questions specific to the job. If your qualifications meet the requirements of the position, you’ll hear from a recruiter within five business days.
  • Pre-Screen Interview
    The recruiter will schedule time with you to learn more about you and your experience, licensure and how your talents could benefit our company and our patients. You are welcome to express your salary expectations at this stage. This interview confirms you meet our basic requirements for the role.
  • Hiring Manager Interview
    You’ll then be moved directly into the hiring manager’s review. They’ll determine whom to interview and work with the recruiter to schedule time with you if chosen. This is your time to shine and your opportunity to ask specific questions about the role, including our company culture and the expectations of the role.
  • Leadership Interviews
    Depending on the job, you may be asked to meet with more leaders at Amedisys to confirm what the recruiter and hiring manager already know – that you’re the perfect fit and ready to take on the job!
  • Offer
    Everyone loved you in the interviews, and the recruiter will now reach out verbally with a competitive and market-driven offer. You’ll then receive a formal offer via email to accept or decline. You can then enter basic information needed and any background checks as mandated by law and company policy for your onboarding process to become an official Amedisys family member!


ONBOARDING WITH AMEDISYS

After you’ve accepted the offer and set a start date, your hiring manager will call you to go over what to expect, including what to bring, what to wear and where to park!

A dedicated onboarding specialist will then help navigate you through providing any additional documentation and information we need, selecting your benefits and introducing you to your initial required training courses.

You’ll also be introduced to the full suite of technology tools we use, including TalentEDGE, your one-stop shop for all things learning and development; People Portal, the central place for benefits and pay information; and Amedisys AtWork, your destination for news and key information from corporate departments and much more!
